Thorpe Park Adventures.....

Hello again everyone;

So yesterday a few of my friends and I  went to Thorpe park the journey there seemed to take forever as we were excited  to get there and start the summer how we intend to finish it “having fun”.  Lucy and I have been to Thorpe Park a few times before however Chloe hasn’t even been on a ride from that point onwards we knew the day was going to be filled with laughs.

When we first got there we went straight to Quantum. The feeling that you get when you rise and falls is so fantastic, although it isn’t the best ride there we thought it would be the best ride to slowly grow confidence to go on the larger rides!
 We then went onto Colossus which was the longest queue of the day. It was Chloe’s first roller coaster ever. In the queue she was so scared but when she sat down I honestly thought she would be screaming but we both enjoyed it so much! The rush gave me such an exhilarated feeling. Going round and round on the cork screw, although I loved it Chloe did come off as white as a sheet.

Thorpe park has such a variety  of rides so if you’re not a thrill seek like myself then  there are plenty of rides like;  Storm in a Tea Cup and Rumba Rapids which are both great rides that have short queues. Thorpe Park really caters for everyone if you like rides. Other thing that make the experience even better was the sets that Thorpe Park has created. My favourite was the crashed fire engine when you walk towards Swarm, it brings the experience alive!

After very busy morning travelling and going on a few rides we unquestionable decision to stop for lunch.  We had the option to have a pit stop in Burger King or Pizza Hut as we didn’t want to wait ages as we had a lot more rides to go on; we  choose on Burger King as it was the closest too us.  I decided to order a sweet chilli chicken wrap and an Oreo ice cream, the chicken wrap was rather filling so we finished up our lunch and decided to make our way over to stealth.
Stealth’s queue  was only 40 minutes long which was the shortest  queuing time all day so that was the best time too queue; as we arrived  to the beginning of the queue Chloe decided she didn’t want to go on it so  she decided to have 40 minute tanning session. It also was Lucy’s first time on stealth although she is a thriller seeker like me however as we nearer the ride I could tell she started to get a little nervous. I understand why because its 200ft tall and travels 80mphin 2 seconds (I know quick ayyyy).

Stealth at it highest.

My all time favourite ride is Nemesis Inferno the feeling of the wind brushing past your feet as you’re whizzing through twisting and turning. Although the ride is very fast with many twists and turns it also very smooth running meaning that your head doesn’t jerk around like it does on Colossus. Another favourite is a ride called Rush it is also very similar to is Nemesis Inferno the feeling of the wind brushing past your feet however rush is not a roller coaster  but a swings which goes up to heights of  75ft and speeds of up to 50mph.

 The Ride before ours on Rush.

 As the jam pact day came to an end, we were all very tired  and couldn’t wait  to crash onto our beds to put our feet up, the last ride we went on was rumba rapids as it was the shortest queue but also the most relaxing. As we bob along we were sitting, laughing, reminiscing over other great days out we have had. Although I have known Chloe and Lucy for nearly 5 years it has only been the last year that we have become really good friends and shared so many great memories.
